Just Overthinking on a Tuesday Night

Dear Diary,

I hate stopping. I hate things coming to an end because that means there is going to be change.

I hate when people tell me I am doing something wrong because it means I have to go back and fix it, and who has time for that. I like constant movement because it keeps my mind off of stressful things and everything I have to do.

I do not like meditating because I do not know how to do it.

I do not like being sick because it means I have to rest, and I do not know how to rest.

When I was younger, I hated school vacations because it messed with the schedule in my head.

I am so nervous for college next year because I am going to have to change so much… but maybe that might be good.

My heart was racing so bad the other day, I thought I was on another planet.

I do not like driving.

OMG I am thinking about thinking. I think that is something from psych class… hmmmm what is it called?? Meta---- METACOGNITION!!! DO I GET EXTRA CREDIT FOR THAT! JK

It is so funny that there are different levels of classes in high school. Like you actually can’t really calculate which student is the “smartest” if not everyone takes the same class.

From my perspective, the “smartest” kid is not the one with the highest Grade Point Average or SAT score; furthermore, I think it is the kid who understands the world and can comprehend critical thinking. But that is just what I think.

Senior year is so intense, but I will get through it.

I love writing so much.

I wonder what people think when they read these thoughts.

I love my Pop It I got for my birthday.

My parents bought me AirPods, and I need to name them. Hmmmmmmm. I already named my water bottle “Ophelia” and my car “Pluto.” Maybe I’ll name them “Olivia” like Olivia Rodrigo because her lyrics to her songs speak to me just like my AirPods do.

I can NOT believe I am 18 years old. That is crazy.

Okay, I gotta go study.

Sincerely,

Anna♡
